All the answers make sense! I couldn't pick just one!
Well, I picked all but one!
I'm just gobsmacked. You can't quit your elected office just because you're bored now! :(
Well, I've thought she was an idiot from the first word out of her mouth. She's bored with politics...what in the hell would she have done if McCain had won? Just wake up one morning and decide she didn't want to be VP?
I have a sneaking suspicion she's doing this to get a head start on 2012. It might be better if the world does end. She's a disaster.
She *is* a disaster. She's like a pull-string doll that repeats soundbites--she has no understanding of policy issues.
I think it's very sad that the Republican party chased away all their intellectuals. Now they're stuck with Dominionist loons like Palin, and that won't fly outside the Deep South.
My dad thinks that she is about to be accused of having a hand in the Michael Jackson's death. heh..
I'm watching her speech now...I'm embarrassed for her. It's so rambly and incoherent. :(
Is it worse than the South Carolina governor's infidelity speach?
I don't know...that was pretty bad.
I think he must have cracked up, too. Why else say that your mistress is your soul mate, but you'll "try" to fall in love with your wife again. Douchebag. :(
I feel bad for his wife, but I admire her for leaving him to twist in the wind while she chills on the beach.
I haven't seen all of it, but I think they are just about tied. Sanford and Palin are just lucky that the public is still hung up on MJ! This is the perfect time to make a fool out of yourself.
If she was, y'know, a normal person, I'd say that after the latest media blowup with David Letterman she's decided she just doesn't want to be in the spotlight anymore.
And if she had ever demonstrated any kind of savvy at all, I'd peg her for Option #2, but that would be giving her more credit than she's due, I think.
Possibly this is Door #1, although, again, I think that's giving her a little too much credit. But, on the other hand, there are certainly a lot of people out there who could have put the idea in her head for her.
Rumor is, her house in Wasilla was built with taxpayer money, as a kickback for the contract insanely expensive sports complex she had built...but there are no named sources on this yet.
Again, this woman has not demonstrated the sense that God gave Roz. I sincerely doubt the phrase "take the money and run" would mean anything to her. | |
